The most anticipated event of the year, the Night of Ghosts, is a safely spooky evening in the old town, as Old Porvoo transforms into a ghostly neighborhood.
The area’s boutiques and restaurants will serve customers late into the evening and are also decorated according to the theme. The event area is filled with surprising lightscapes and soundscapes, as well as the strangest creatures and fellow travelers. You can shop in the ghostly boutiques until late and sit down to feast on the autumn harvest in the restaurants. Welcome to enjoy ghostly delicacies and a wonderfully spooky atmosphere in the cafes of the Night of Ghosts. The event is organized by the Old Porvoo Merchants Association.
Leonard’s Wine Bar & Cafe will be open late into the evening during the Night of Ghosts. Inspired by the event, we have created a delicious salty liquorice (salmiakki) hot chocolate, available in both spiked and non-alcoholic versions. Come and try this chillingly good cocoa treat!
